The lower of the two domes, tucked deeper into the canopy on the 20-acre mountainside 2.5 miles from Blowing Rock. A king bed under a transparent roof, a private hot tub on the deck, and a view that reaches 100 miles.
The deck holds a fire pit, a hammock, a grill and seating among the trees. Inside, a kitchenette with a French press and kettle, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a heated bathhouse with a flushing toilet and hot shower.
Heating, cooling, space heaters and electric blankets are there, but a dome is not an insulated house; bring layers in the cold months. The TreePod driveway needs all-wheel or four-wheel drive; otherwise, and in winter weather, park at the top and walk about 400 feet down.
The GeoDome is a few hundred feet up the mountain staircase. Book both domes for two couples.

What is the difference between the TreePod and the GeoDome?
Elevation and seclusion. The GeoDome is higher with a wider view; the TreePod is lower and tucked into the canopy. Both have a king bed, a private hot tub and a heated bathhouse.
Can I drive to the TreePod?
